Do You Know What System Hosted The First Website?
Posted By SE On October 7, 2011 @ 7:26 am In Reflection | No Comments
I have been watching TV and listening to radio stations that ran stories to pay tribute to Apple’s Steve Jobs. Jobs was well known for being behind the iMac, iPhone, iPod, and iPad.
I haven’t heard any mention of NeXT systems… After Job’s resignation from Apple 1985, he build the NeXT Computer which became a high end computer for Universities and later corporations.
It is worth mentioning that engineers at Cern Laboratory who build the first website on the internet chose the NeXT System as a platform for their website.
You can read more about it and visit the first webpage on the internet here [2].
Regards.
